by Scott Ventrella has been published in 24 languages indicating clearly the value of its content. I came across the book first when I found it in a library. I have read The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale – one of the all time classic motivational books – so I was curious to hear what Scott had to say as he has worked in depth with the Norman Vincent Peale Center.

To be brief (as I promise in all my mini reviews) what I liked about this book is the clarity of explanation Mr. Ventrella gave in his discussion about the S.M.A.R.T. goal setting concept. Many people (including myself) have used and shared this concept but he really explains it well and most importantly he shows how to put it into action. Just understanding and applying this goal setting action plan can help you achieve your goals quicker and is more than worth the price of the book.

This book is designed to help you put things into action.

Since this book was first published in 2001 you can most likely track down easily a used copy on Amazon and that means you are getting a really good deal for a potentially life changing tool. It is a worthwhile read.
