<p>All of these and more are great questions and questions I believe are one of the most powerful ways of changing our lives for the better.</p>
<p><strong>Questions help us find out</strong> where we are in our lives and what we need to do each day to get to the place we want to be or to remain in the state we are in.</p>
<p>Each day I ask myself the question which is the title of this article.</p>
<p><strong>What is the most effective use of my time?</strong></p>
<p>Then I take steps to live the most fulfilling day I can.</p>

<p>Richard Bandler is the co-founder of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and in this book he consolidates in simple language decades of techniques he has created and successfully taught people to change their lives for the better quickly.</p>
<p>The book has an introductory section where Bandler teach’s you (and me too since I definitely learned) how NLP works and how to use it right away in your life.</p>
<p>He explains and teaches you how to locate and recognize your mental energy</p>
<p>He explains and teaches you how to harness this mental energy.</p>
<p>He explains and teaches you how to redirect this mental energy to change how you feel and think so you can find solutions to many different challenges in your life.</p>

<p><strong>After the introduction of techniques the book is split into three sections: Getting Over It, Getting Through It and Getting To It.</strong></p>
<p>Each of these sections offers detailed examples and step by step guidance on important life experiences topic like:</p>
<p>How to get over fears and phobias</p>
<p>How to get over bad memories</p>
<p>How to get through big events like interviews and tests</p>
<p>How to get to making big decisions</p>
<p>How to get to meet more people</p>
<p>How to get to making more money</p>
<p><strong>Bandler repeats in many different ways the unique and powerful NLP tools that empower you to live the life you want.</strong> This repetition helped me burn the ideas into my own mind so I could use them more effectively.</p>
<p>To me the book which comes with a bonus education CD is a gem. I have read many NLP books and found them heavy and complicated to apply. But in less than 200 pages Bandler shows you how to get things together in your life. The Guardian Newspaper calls him ‘one of the Leonardo’s of our time’ and rightly so. He stands in the background as the mentor of many successful people like the now famous Paul McKenna who has written many self help books telling you how to use NLP in your life.</p>
<p>I recommend you buy this book (yes, I do have my own copy) and I believe if you apply what is in this book and <em>the key is if you apply it</em> I believe you can make a positive change in your life. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi, I believe one of the most wonderful practices to embrace in life is an attitude of Gratitude, to be simply thankful for whatever you (and I) are blessed with at this very moment in life.</p>
<p>Sometimes this is easy when the Sun is shining and everyone is being kind to you. Sometimes this is not easy since you may be feeling unhealthy, unhappy and financially broke. But if you have attended any of my seminars over the last ten years you know I firmly believe that where you focus your mind will get you the results of your focus. So focusing on being grateful for the positive experiences no matter how small at least keeps you focused on the good things and this has helped me personally pull through some tough times.</p>
<p>Today I would like to suggest you ‘<strong>Enjoy the Joy’</strong> of making a ‘<strong>Call of Gratitude</strong>’. This simply involves taking up the phone and calling someone and giving them thanks for something that you remember positively they did for you whether it is a friend who picked you up in their car when it was raining last week, the employer who gave you a job after months of searching or the doctor who years ago helped you pull through an illness. <em><strong>Imagine how good you would feel if someone called you today to thank you for something you did in the past.</strong></em></p>
<p>Now make someone&#8217;s day &#8211; make that call of gratitude!</p>
