			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sometimes the reason a communication breaks down and leads to some stress and confusion is because one of the speaker’s repetitive use the pronoun ‘It’.</p>
<p>What is David talking about? You may be asking. I am referring to the experience you may have had when you are speaking to someone about a number of topics and the person you are speaking to says ‘Well, what do you think of it?’ and you respond (Since you are not sure what IT is referring to) ‘Think of what?’.</p>
<p>Hopefully, the person you are speaking to will say ‘Oh! I was referring to the trip’ (or whatever IT is) but sometimes the person does not respond with exactly what they meant by IT. They may say in a unhappy tone or slightly stressed voice ‘Have you been listening?’ and all you can say is ‘I am not sure what you are referring to by it’.</p>
<p>Overall, a few moments of confusion and stress occur in the conversation due to the use of the pronoun IT.  Now if this occurs in a personal relationship or in a business presentation the best solution if you are the user of the word IT to immediately remember the guideline from <em>Neuro-Linguistic Programming</em> (NLP) that says ‘<em>Communication is the Response you Get</em>&#8220;. In essence, your use of the word IT has confused the listener so to get a better response you simply need to clarity.</p>
<p>Simple concept, indeed, always practiced? Well&#8230;</p>
<p>Reflect for the moment if you have ever had a conversation with a friend or client where confusion and tension arrived because one of the you used the pronoun IT several times in a statement and the other person lost track of what was being referred to. Indeed, life is short but sometimes pronouns make communication take longer.</p>
<p>Now the task is to become more conscious (both you and me) in our conversations of the amount of times we use the word IT so as to make sure we are not mixing up the person who is taking the time to listen. Now, I have to go back and check how many times I used the word it in this posting. So I can make sure what I am saying makes sense.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>To reduce stress and to improve the health, happiness and prosperity in your life you most likely agree you need to ask yourself important questions <em><strong>before</strong></em> you start a task.</p>
<p>May I suggest you follow this <strong>four step question format</strong> to help focus your valuable energy – these questions can of course be reframed to be not only used at work but for personal tasks outside of work.</p>
<p><strong>The Four W&#8217;s of Time Management</strong> (I wrote this to be easy so the four W&#8217;s <em>are not</em> Work,Work, Work, Work <img src='http://thewondertechnique.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><strong>Step ONE</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ask yourself WHAT exactly is it that you need to do.</strong></p>
<p>Perhaps, you need to update your website, organize your past client files so you can start using a contact management system like <a href="http://www.aweber.com/?325942" target="_blank">Aweber</a>,  perhaps you need to design a new product.</p>
<p>Now once you have written WHAT tasks need to be done move to the next question.</p>
<p><strong>Step TWO</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ask yourself WHO is the right person for the task.</strong></p>
<p>Okay, so you are not a web designer so you will hire someone for this (make a note to locate a web designer), you will also hire someone to organize your client files because your time needs to be used more effectively (make a note of what way you need the files organized) but you are very creative in product development area so you will work on the new product.</p>
<p>Now that you have focused your energy and realized there is a ideal task for you to work on (the product design) you need to double check what you are doing before you start.</p>
<p><strong>Step THREE</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ask yourself WHY do I need to do this task?</strong></p>
<p>Well, all your market research indicates the market has changed and your products need to change too. you need to redefine/recreate/create a new product &#8211; this task is a good choice to use your time best.</p>
<p>Now that you double checked you are definitely on track you need to ask yourself another question.</p>
<p><strong>Step FOUR</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ask yourself WHEN do I need to do this task?</strong></p>
<p>You have the time, you have the funding, you have the need so then the time is now. If you are missing the funding or you decide the need is not really present in the current or future market place then you need to find another task to focus your time on. And as always in life there are always more tasks to complete.</p>
<p>I hope this idea I put together for you (I call it <strong>the four W’s of Time Management) </strong>helps you enjoy a more stress free and successful day.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A study published in the journal <a href="http://www.sciencemag.org/" target="_blank">SCIENCE</a> (the weekly journal published by American Association for the Advancement of Science) indicates that <strong>one of the most important reasons for sleep</strong> is that it is the time for the brain to repair information gathering and transferring systems in the brain.</p>
<p>One of the studies authors Paul Shaw of Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis USA said “right now many people are worried about their jobs and the economy and some are no doubt losing sleep over these concerns&#8221;.</p>
<p>The reality is you need to get a good night&#8217;s sleep so the brain can repair areas heavily used during the day. So the next day you can work effectively to keep your job. In addition, he mentions <strong>sleep continues to be a very important factor</strong> in promoting memory and learning,  crucial parts of a successful career.</p>
<p>Like most people I really like to have a nourishing night&#8217;s sleep and those of you who have attended one of <a href="http://thewondertechnique.com/seminars/" target="_blank">The W.O.N.D.E.R Technique ® presentations </a>know when I present I offer a whole section on the importance of sleep.</p>
<p>During the seminar section I don&#8217;t focus on machines and medication to help nourish sleep I prefer<strong> to share the no cost ideas like the two listed below.</strong> If you have any suggestions that have worked for you and that only required you to take a simple action please email me or leave a comment on this posting.</p>
<p>One<br />
<strong>Cover the Light</strong><br />
Light turns off the activation of the chemical melatonin in the body and the action of melatonin is necessary for deep sleep. Therefore, make sure you are sleeping in a completely dark room. For example, use a heavy curtain during summer nights.</p>
<p>You may be surprised how many people young and old who have trouble sleeping try to sleep in a room exposed to light.</p>
<p>Two<br />
<strong>Keep Your Feet Cozy</strong><br />
If you have cold feet some studies have indicated that wearing socks in bed can help activate sleep because somehow cold feet keep the body awake. Perhaps the body is keep awake since when you have cold feet the body stays active working to pump blood to the feet to get them warm. It is simple and worth trying.</p>
<p>Try these ideas out if you have not tried them before and forward this email to a friend who will appreciate the suggestions.</p>
