The Power of Association

Both you and I can reduce our stress and improve our health and happiness in our personal and business environments by being conscious of who we choose to associate with. When you look over your life after reading this you will recognize it is simple and true that when we associate with happy, inspiring people we feel better. It is like we absorb some of their positive emotions. On the contrary, it is simple and true that when we associate with negative, uninspiring people we can start to feel negative and sad. To avoid this impact it takes conscious effort on your part and is not always easy.

From this day on you will have to become aware of not only what you read and listen and watch but who you stay in connection with.

On the negative side, if a friendship is constantly bringing you negative feelings you will have to reduce and perhaps eliminate the time you spend with this person until you feel strong enough to be in their presence and not absorb their negative emotions. This maybe particularly difficult for you if
the person is a member of your family of origin but it still applies.

On the positive side, if you want to bring more health and happiness into your life then you need to associate with people who inspire you and remind you that what you want to experience is possible.
