How to Manage Fear though your Definition of Fear

How can you manage the stress of fear in your life?

I propose you can Manage Fear though your Definition of Fear.

Your life can be very stressful if you are in a state of fear during many moments of the day.

One way to reduce stress is to identify what is really something you need to have fear for and what is not.

Your definition of what is fear can be so large that you see yourself as fearful almost all the time when, in fact, your level fear can be changed by how you define it.

In a moment I will share a definition (possibly new to you) that can help you take back more of your personal power because if you redefine fear in a way that you see your world as less full of fear this can help reduce the stress in your life.

One proposed definition I have as a working idea is as follows:

Real Fear is based on your environment. If you have a snarling dog in front of you or a person pointing a gun at you, a fear response is understandable as this is a hostile environment. The cause of Fear is outside of you i.e. External

Unreal Fear is based on your imagination. You are imagining that is a future circumstance that something will happen but you have no guarantee it will happen. In many cases you may never have had the experience but you have fear about what might happen. For example, I am afraid to ask this person on a date because they may reject me but you have never asked them before. I am afraid to ask for more money in my new job my boss may reject my request but you have never asked before. The cause of Fear is inside of you i.e Internal

Choose if you wish to look at how you define fears in your life and see if this suggested approach can help you reduce fears into things you have control over and those you don’t.
This can help reduce the stress in your life.
