If you are looking to cut the cost of your organic food shopping list another way is to avoid buying prepared foods like organic biscuits/cookies/cakes etc and also avoid buying items like organic vegetables and fruits that are already peeled or cut and prepared in some way to eat right away.
Indeed, it is easy to grab a bag of organic carrots already peeled from the local store but then you do you are paying extra for someone’s time. If you want to save a little bit here and there on the cost of organic food buy the regular carrots and peel them yourself when you are ready to eat them.
In our home we like fresh carrots. If you do too remember if you buy fresh carrots with the green tops take the green tops off or they will draw water out of the carrots and make them less tasty.
Enjoy a great day,
